Hi, I’m Alison!
In high school I found my way into reading books (especially the cheesy romance ones) and I’ve been hooked ever since. I wasn’t always interested in the story line though, I loved looking at all of the different types of illustrations on the book covers. Although, growing up in the small town of Manitouwadge, I had no idea that there was actually a career for that. Once I discovered graphic design, I knew that was what I wanted my career to be. So, when I graduated high school, I moved to Ottawa and started learning as much about graphic design as I possibly could. Moving away from my hometown proved to be a little difficult, but along the way I’ve made some friends and got a dog (Dakota), and it’s made this whole experience worth it. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
Favourite Holiday
My all time favourite holiday is definitely Christmas! I go all out with decorations in the first week of November, and it stays up well into January. I watch TONS of Christmas movies and love baking so many delicious cookies and treats.
Where I Want to Visit
Ever since I was in grade 10 I’ve wanted to visit Hawaii. There’s just something about all the beaches and mountains that keeps me hooked. When I go, I’ll definitely be doing some of the hiking trails
Favourite Sport
While I don’t like to watch sports on tv, I do really enjoy playing them! My favourite being volleyball, but badminton is definitely close by. All throughout high school I played as many sports I could, and I even made time for some intramural games while in college.
Favourite Book Series
This choice has never been difficult for me to make. In high school I read the Twilight Saga, and I’ve been invested ever since. You don’t even want to know how many times I’ve read the books and watched the movies. (p.s. I’m team Edward.)
